Privacy Policy

Effective October 17, 2026

This policy explains how BeaglePDF handles information when you use our website, PDF compression tools, Developer API, and support form. Contact the BeaglePDF team through Support with questions or privacy requests.

Billing: PayPal handles payment approval and payment credentials. BeaglePDF stores subscription identifiers, plan and billing status, confirmed payment references, paid-access dates, accepted terms version, and payment notifications for account access, reconciliation, and support. Notifications may include payer contact details. We do not collect or store your full card number or PayPal password. Sandbox billing data is used for testing.

Information we receive

How we use information

We use this information to fetch and compress documents, deliver results and callbacks, manage accounts and access, investigate failures, respond to support requests, and prevent abuse. Support staff may review information needed to investigate a request. Please do not submit PDF contents or credentials in support messages.

Service providers and sharing

BeaglePDF uses cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services, to host the service, process documents, and store temporary results and operational records. Processing currently takes place in the United States. When you supply a callback URL, we send job information and your supplied user data to that destination. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service or address abuse.

We do not sell your PDFs or use their contents for advertising. The compression workflow does not use uploaded documents to train AI models.

Cookies and security

We use session cookies for login, form verification, and request confirmations. Blocking these cookies can prevent account and support features from working. HTTPS protects traffic in transit. Stored PDFs are private and accessed through temporary signed links. Anyone with a valid signed link may be able to download that file until the link expires; do not share it unintentionally. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

PDFs are temporary working files, not a permanent archive. Our current document cleanup rule uses a one-day expiration period; deletion happens asynchronously and is not guaranteed at an exact hour. See File retention & deletion for availability windows, processing copies, and exceptions.

Deleting a PDF does not automatically remove its job metadata, source URL, API user data, account records, support correspondence, or logs. These records may remain for support, operation, security, and legal purposes. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion schedule for account, job, or support records. Database backups may retain copies after a live record is removed until those backups rotate out.

Your choices and requests

You can request access, correction, or deletion of information through Support. Include the relevant account email or job tag, but not passwords or API keys. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. Some records may need to be retained for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. This policy does not limit rights available under applicable law.

Children and changes

BeaglePDF is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact Support. We may update this policy as the service changes and will update the effective date on this page.
